Sean J. LaBorde, RHU

Mr. Sean LaBorde is Executive Vice President of Sales for the Eau Claire, Madison, and Wausau offices of M3 Insurance Solutions for Business (M3). He is also a member of M3’s management team and Executive Operating Committee. Sean works with Account Executives to retain and service their client relationships and to obtain new business through delivery of the M3 Value Proposition.

Sean attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in actuarial science. He worked as an actuary for U-CARE Health Maintenance Organization and a consultant with Meridian Resource Corporation. In addition, he worked as the health care information manager with the Employer Health Care Alliance (The Alliance), with significant experience with health care reporting and provider contracting. Sean came to work at M3 in 1997.

Sean is licensed as a health and life insurance agent as well as a property and casualty insurance agent. He has obtained the Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation. Sean is working toward the designation of Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA). He is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and the Wisconsin Association of Health Underwriters (WAHU).

Sean serves on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Association of Health Underwriters (WAHU) as well as the Dane County chapter of the Junior Achievement of Wisconsin. Sean is also a member of the Key Club and Rosenberry Society of the United Way of Dane County.
