Loren Mortenson started the firm that has become M3 in 1968, with a strong emphasis on life insurance and financial planning. When Richard Matzelle joined the firm in 1970, we added employee benefits expertise to our insurance placement services. In 1985, four property and casualty professionals, led by Charles Meldrum, began our property and casualty practice and rounded out our business insurance services.
Today, employing over 150 insurance professionals, M3 serves over 5,000 commercial clients from five offices in Wisconsin. Our focus is in property and casualty, workers' compensation, employee benefits, and retirement planning. Our expertise, resources, reputation, and growth have gained us our client's loyalty and the industry's respect.
