One of the most serious yet misunderstood topics in OSHA’s focus, NFPA 70E - Electrical Safe Work Practices, can mean the difference between safely working on electrical systems or suffering debilitating injuries or worse. If working on completely de-energized switchgear and equipment is not always possible for your company, this seminar will provide information to help sort out the best practices for doing so safely, and outline the requirements for attaining OSHA compliance in this area.
This seminar will include:
- A description of arc flash hazards
- An overview of OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices
- Arc flash case histories
- Personal protective clothing requirements
- Appropriate tools
- When a procedure for working on energized equipment is required
-
What is a continuous industrial process?
