“Understanding OSHA’s Combustible Dust Standard” takes an in-depth look at this potentially catastrophic hazard that affects countless types of industries, many of which do not realize that the exposure exists. Dust explosions can occur in nearly any industry from manufacturing to food processing to plastics and warehousing.

George Yoksas, Director of the Milwaukee Area OSHA Office will lead attendees through an informative webinar to promote an understanding of the explosive properties of dust, and methods to prevent or mitigate the effects of a combustible dust explosion. In addition, Federal compliance ramifications under the Occupational Health and Safety Administration will be discussed in a no-nonsense approach, with plenty of time to ask questions in a consequence-free environment.

RSVP for this webinar and you’ll learn the latest OSHA has to offer on combustible dust including:

  • What is combustible dust and what environments can becoming volatile?
  • Best practices, control measures and preventive maintenance
  • OSHA requirements relating to dust, particle size and housekeeping
  • Resources for additional information and further research

There will be a Q&A session after the presentation, so be sure to submit your questions.
