FMSCA Bans Texting for Commercial Vehicles- Immediately
The FMSCA announces regulatory guidance concerning texting while driving a commercial motor vehicle (CMV). The guidance is applicable to all interstate drivers of CMV's subject to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs).
This regulatory guidance is effective on January 27, 2010.
