National Flood Insurance Program Reauthorization Expired

The United States Congress recently adjourned without approving a bill that would extend the National Flood Insurance Program beyond March 28, 2010. Therefore, the program has expired as of midnight, March 28, 2010. The Senate is expected to return April 12, 2010, at which time it is expected that they will vote on extending legislation.
