M3 Interns Awarded $20,000 by The Council Foundation

M3 is proud to announce that four of our interns have been selected as recipients of a $5,000 scholarship for the 2019-20 academic year by The Council Foundation.

In awarding the scholarships, an independent selection committee looks for candidates who have the potential to excel as leaders and contributors in the commercial insurance brokerage business sector. Congratulations to the following 2019 M3 interns who met the criteria:

  • Ba Lee
  • Gabe Rasmussen
  • Macie Zurfluh
  • Josue Piedra-Gomez

2019 Intern Scholarship Winners

The Council Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable educational organization instituted by the Washington, D.C.-based Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers. Part of the Foundation’s core mission is to secure the future of the commercial insurance brokerage business by attracting and developing tomorrow’s talent, like Lee, Rasmussen, Zurfluh and Piedra-Gomez.

The four interns from M3 are among 75 college students across the country who received Council Foundation scholarships this year.
