M3 Receives WASBO 2023 Recovery of the Year Award

The Midwest Facility Masters Planning Committee is proud to announce M3 Insurance, Muskego-Norway Schools, Kelmann Restoration, L.J. Shaw & Company, Environmental Management Consultants, and EMC Insurance as the recipient of the 2023 Recovery of the Year award. The district and companies were recognized on October 30, 2023, at the 2023 Midwest Facility Masters Conference.
The purpose of the Recovery of the Year Award is to recognize a school district, insurance company, and restoration company that worked in tandem to quickly recover from an incident such as fire, severe weather damage, or flood. The district and companies were recognized in honor of the successful nine-day recovery project following a school fire at Bay Lane Elementary School.
Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials (WASBO) — in participation with Illinois ASBO, Iowa ASBO, Minnesota ASBO, Minnesota Educational Facility Management Professionals (MASMS), and Missouri School Plant Managers Association — coordinate the annual Midwest Facility Masters Conference. The conference is designed to provide career development and professional training opportunities for Facility and Operations, as well as School Business Professionals in K-12 Schools.
