Matt Mauthe, Chief Executive Officer of Illuminus, a Fitchburg, WI-based not-for-profit senior living management company dedicated to providing operational expertise, financial strength, and a focus on quality care to senior living providers throughout the Midwest, was recently elected to the M3 Board of Directors. This appointment was approved on February 17, 2026, at the annual M3 Shareholder meeting.
As Chief Executive Officer of Illuminus, Matt Mauthe leads with a deep commitment to the organization’s mission of promoting the health and well-being of every individual served. His leadership is guided by a clear vision: to meet the evolving needs of older adults today while shaping innovative models of care for the future. Under Matt’s direction, Illuminus strives not only to lead the senior living industry, but to transform it for the better.

Mauthe earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2005. He serves on the advisory board for the Center for Health Administration and Aging Services Excellence and received the Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of his ongoing contributions to the field of healthcare administration. He is also deeply invested in his community and actively supports regional growth and leadership development.
