Time Crunch for Test Results

CLIENT:

Hartford Union High School

ISSUE:

When swimming pool users began complaining about the air in the pool area of this high school, air quality testing became imperative. But more than that, the results needed to be fast-tracked in time for an important school board meeting. Would there be enough time?

Mike Williamson, Business Manager of Hartford Union High School, contacted the school’s M3 Account Executive late in the day on February 9, 2016, conveying the need for testing as quickly as possible: the results and an official report would be needed within 10 days. M3 immediately contacted EMC Insurance in Brookfield, the high school’s carrier, to get the process started. From there an agent at EMC’s corporate headquarters in Iowa was contacted. And the race was on.

IMPACT:

Within three days of the request, testing was carried out. Hartford Union High School received the results verbally the same day.

Then the official report was delivered with two days to spare before the February 19 school board meeting. The information proved critical to support a repair expenditure for the pool area’s ventilation system.

“I know this was a quick turn-around request and really appreciate your ability and willingness to help a client,” said the school’s Mike Williamson. He couldn’t believe the consultant that EMC mobilized drove from Iowa just for the testing at the high school. The attention Hartford Union High School received exemplifies EMC’s consistent ability to partner with school districts. M3 wants our school clients to know that great service isn’t something to hope for—it’s what you should expect.
