15 of 50: Ghidorzi Green & Clean
Ghidorzi Green & Clean is a community-wide initiative held on or near Earth Day’s official date, April 22nd. Organized by design-build firm Ghidorzi and the Ghidorzi Foundation, the event brings together residents, businesses, organizations, and even entire families to help keep the Wausau area beautiful by cleaning up debris and litter.
Since its beginning in 2010, Ghidorzi Green & Clean has been responsible for removing more than 21 tons of trash. In fact, 2017 was a record year with more than 1,000 volunteers gathering 4.36 tons of trash.
Seeing firsthand what hard work and dedication can accomplish
Each year employees—and family members—from M3’s Wausau office get involved in the Ghidorzi Green & Clean event by donning work gloves and safety t-shirts and heading out into the community to gather trash. They get the chance to help beautify the Wausau area. More than that, they get to experience firsthand what a group of people can do within just a few hours to make their community a better place to live, work, and thrive.
M3 celebrates the efforts of Ghidorzi and the Ghidorzi Foundation to take the lead on such an important initiative for our community.
