27 of 50: The X Open
Every year since 2013, veterans’ charities get a boost in funding thanks to 92.9’s The X Open at Hickory Hills Golf Course in Eau Claire. All proceeds are used locally to help veterans in a variety of ways thanks to organizations like the following:
- VFW’s Unmet Needs Program
- Hogs for Heroes
- Chippewa Falls Veterans Home
- Trinity Equestrian Center’s Veterans Wellness Programs
- Wounded Warrior Project
Keeping the Support Going
Veterans often need more than just our appreciation. M3 provides sponsorship to 92.9’s The X Open because we believe it’s a great way to raise money and awareness for our veterans. Scott Trinrud leads M3’s participation in The X Open. He’s a veteran himself and has a deep personal connection to supporting the men and women who have served our country.
