6 of 50: The Road Home Dane County

Every child deserves a home. From that simple but profound premise, The Road Home Dane County works to help homeless families with children find housing that’s safe, affordable, and part of a long-term solution to improving their lives.

According to the organization’s estimates for the area, “On any given day there are approximately 200 families without stable housing who are looking for it.”

Providing a range of strategies and programs to help families in need, The Road Home is an integral part of a coordinated network in Dane County that seeks lasting solutions to ending family homelessness. In addition to other nonprofits and public agencies, businesses, volunteers, and individual donors all have a role in helping carry out The Road Home’s mission.

Proud to support such an important cause

Along with financial gifts, M3 executives and staff from all levels volunteer our time to The Road Home because we believe in its cause. Every family should have stable, safe housing. The Road Home serves a crucial role in making that possible.

Among the many benefits The Road Home brings to homeless families is that kids can enjoy remaining in the same school all year long. Stability, consistency, and security—things like these play a pivotal role in creating a healthy childhood and helping a family in need find the path to a better life. That’s why The Road Home is so important.

M3ers took shifts during a United Way Days of Caring event, packing backpacks for school age children in need to benefit the Road Home.

The Road Home is proud to partner with M3 Insurance! They provide top-notch service to us as a client, in addition to supporting our mission philanthropically in various ways, from providing space for our events to providing financial support to having their employees on our committees.

Their leadership is engaged in the community and they encourage the same for their employees. I wish more businesses supported non-profits like M3 does!
