Join M3 and the Cooperative Network for an engaging discussion on winning the war for talent. The workforce shortage from COVID-19 and “The Great Resignation” have created a significant challenge for cooperatives. In addition to the pandemic causing stress on the system, the Wisconsin Department of Administration says, “it is projected between 2015 and 2040, the population ages 65 and older will grow by 640,000 people.” The population in the 65+ age group will see a 72% increase. Between these factors, it’s evident that there are not enough people to fill open positions.

Attracting and retaining employees is essential for a successful business. As an employer, you may ask what you can do to recruit, retain, and engage your workforce.
