Erik Vandermause

Erik Vandermause is the chief information officer and a partner at M3 Insurance, as well as a member of the firm’s executive operating committee.  Erik directs the firm’s digital strategy, ensuring technology investments align with business goals to drive distinct and measurable value creation for M3 and its clients.  He oversees the full spectrum of the Digital team’s responsibilities, including accelerating product development, delivering high-impact applied intelligence data products, and optimizing essential digital operations and support.  Erik champions the adoption of AI and automation to increase employee effectiveness, balancing these advancements with robust security to protect the firm.  Through this approach, he ensures M3’s digital investments are not only robust and secure but serve as a key driver of the firm’s growth.

• Earned a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison
• Earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Norbert College
• Prior to joining M3, led insurance technology initiatives for fortune 25 clients as a managing director of Accenture, and held several leadership roles as vice president of TruStage
• Joined M3 in 2023 as vice president of applied intelligence
• Named chief information officer in 2026
