Kimberly Zander

Kimberly Zander is a Client Executive at M3 Insurance, specializing in property & casualty insurance for organizations in the food and agribusiness industry. Drawing on a lifelong connection to the food supply chain and a background in food safety, Kim partners with clients to help them manage risk, navigate complex insurance challenges, and protect what they have worked hard to build. She serves as a trusted advisor, working closely with organizations to understand their operations, identify exposures, and develop insurance and risk management strategies that support long term success.

Kim’s strength lies in building strong relationships and serving as a strategic resource for organizations facing growth, change, and evolving risks. She enjoys collaborating with mission-driven businesses, nonprofits, cooperatives, and commercial organizations that value a proactive approach to risk management. Through education, advocacy, and creative problem-solving, she helps clients confidently navigate an increasingly complex insurance landscape.

Before entering the insurance industry, Kim worked in food safety, where she developed a deep appreciation for the people and businesses that make up the food supply chain. Her experience, combined with her passion for helping organizations succeed, allows her to bring a unique perspective to her role at M3. She holds a Wisconsin property & casualty insurance license, earned her CISR designation, and is HACCP Certified. Kim also serves on the board of UCP Greater Dane County, supporting the organization’s mission to help individuals live more independent and fulfilling lives.

Outside of work.

Kim enjoys staying connected to nature and exploring new ways to grow and create. An avid gardener, she tends both a thriving vegetable garden and a newly established pollinator garden. She also enjoys baking and has recently taken up the art of fermentation. When she’s not in the garden or kitchen, you’ll likely find her biking, hiking, or planning her next visit to a National Park. At home, Kim shares her space with a large collection of houseplants and her cat, Miso.
