Mitch Gordon
Mitch Gordon is an Associate Risk Manager at M3, specializing in senior living and social services. Drawing on several years of senior living leadership experience, Mitch partners with clients to identify, assess, and manage risk while supporting operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and quality outcomes.
Prior to joining M3, Mitch served in leadership roles across the senior living continuum, including Assisted & Independent Living Director and Campus Administrator for a community offering skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living services. His firsthand operational experience provides valuable insight into the challenges organizations face and allows him to deliver practical, realistic solutions that support both compliance and performance improvement.
Mitch works closely with executive leaders and care teams to navigate complex regulatory environments, strengthen risk management strategies, and advance initiatives that improve organizational performance. He helps clients identify opportunities to enhance processes, address potential gaps, and create safer environments for the residents and individuals they serve.
His areas of expertise include skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, quality and performance improvement, regulatory compliance, trend analysis, and risk management strategy. Mitch particularly enjoys helping organizations turn operational and regulatory challenges into opportunities for meaningful improvement.
Today, his primary focus is working with skilled nursing organizations, where he helps clients implement best practices, prepare for regulatory scrutiny, and gain an outside perspective on risk. By combining operational leadership experience with a proactive approach to risk prevention, Mitch helps organizations strengthen quality of care, improve outcomes, and achieve their long-term goals.
Outside of work.
Outside of work, Mitch enjoys spending time with his wife, family, friends, and their five dogs. A northern Wisconsin native, he appreciates the outdoors, small-town communities, and summer evenings around a fire. He and his wife enjoy exploring local coffee shops, bakeries, and ice cream spots. Mitch is also an avid reader and a loyal Minnesota Vikings fan, creating a friendly rivalry at home with his Packers-supporting wife.
