WI Act 137 is new legislation, enacted in March 2014, providing grants to small businesses that create new workplace wellness programs. The funds are used to reimburse workplaces that started a new program after March 15th, 2014 and have since than incurred expenses for their workplace wellness programs over a 12 month period. M3 was the only broker brought to the table to assist the State of Wisconsin in developing the application for WI Act 137.
Grant Overview:
- Employers with 50 or fewer employees
- Must have started their program after March 15, 2014
- One-time grants pay for 30% of wellness program costs incurred over a 12-month period ($15,000 cap)
