Workplace Wellness Program Grants for Small Businesses

WI Act 137 is new legislation, enacted in March 2014, providing grants to small businesses that create new workplace wellness programs. The funds are used to reimburse workplaces that started a new program after March 15th, 2014 and have since than incurred expenses for their workplace wellness programs over a 12 month period. M3 was the only broker brought to the table to assist the State of Wisconsin in developing the application for WI Act 137.

Grant Overview:

  • Employers with 50 or fewer employees
  • Must have started their program after March 15, 2014
  • One-time grants pay for 30% of wellness program costs incurred over a 12-month period ($15,000 cap)

To apply for a grant, businesses are asked to fill out a Workplace Wellness Program Grant application.
