Zach Rice has been promoted to director of employee benefits – Rockford at M3. In this capacity, he works closely with other members of the M3 Rockford team to identify and acquire new business, implement go-to-market strategies, and build strong partnerships with key business leaders, insurance companies and community organizations throughout Illinois and Southern WI. Rice will work alongside Laurie Miller as a co-lead to support the expansion within the region. Additionally, he will continue to manage and grow his book of business.
Rice has over 17 years of industry experience and has made significant contributions to M3 since joining in 2021. He has been successful in developing client relationships and industry connections. Currently, Rice holds the position of vice president of professional development at the Rockford Area Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), alongside being a licensed life & health agent in Illinois. Rice is passionate about being involved in both professional and community initiatives. He actively participates in community betterment initiatives by serving as an action chair for Next Rockford and volunteering for non-profit organizations such as Northern IL Food Bank and Feed My Starving Children.
