Overview:

M3’s Brendan Bush will be the moderator for the State Bar of Wisconsin’s upcoming Construction Luncheon CLE covering “Integrated Systems Analysis” discarded in Wisconsin. In its recent opinion in 5 Walworth, LLC v. Engerman Contracting, Inc., the Wisconsin Supreme Court overruled its prior decision in Wisconsin Pharmacal Co., LLC v. Nebraska Cultures of California, Inc. that in order for coverage to apply under the standard insuring agreement of a CGL policy, the alleged property damage must be to property other than the allegedly defective product or work.

Brendan Bush and panelists will cover construction insurance coverage considerations in the wake of the 5 Walworth decision.

Topics Include:

  • Insight on the 5 Walworth decision
  • How it affects insurers and policyholders
  • Practical considerations for insurance coverage and disputes in the construction industry following the decision

Additional Panelists:

  • Insurance coverage experts: Monte Weiss and Mark Malloy
  • Judge who wrote the Court of Appeals opinion, Judge Jeffrey Davis

Join us for the lively panel discussion regarding the construction insurance coverage landscape in Wisconsin before and after 5 Walworth.
