Medicare

M3 Elevate’s Medicare team helps individuals understand their Medicare options so they can get the right plan to fit their needs. We work with you on an individual basis or with employees company-wide to determine the essentials, providing specific recommendations for Medicare Part D prescription plans, Medicare Part C advantage plans, and supplemental coverage that can offset out-of-pocket expense.

What is Medicare?

Medicare is the United States’ health insurance program for people age 65 or older. Medicare helps with the cost of health care, but it does not cover all medical expenses. Medicare has four basic parts:

  • Part A—Hospital insurance
  • Part B—Medical insurance
  • Part C—Medicare Advantage
  • Part D—Prescription drug coverage

Who can get Medicare?

Although most commonly used by people age 65 or older, some younger people are eligible for Medicare, too. Those include people with disabilities, permanent kidney failure and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease).
