Wisconsin Issues Mask Mandate

On Thursday, July 30, the Governor of the State of Wisconsin declared a Public Health Emergency and issued an Emergency Order requiring individuals to wear face coverings when in an enclosed space and not in a private residence.  This emergency order is effective 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, August 1.

The orders from the Governor include Executive Order #82 which declares a public health emergency and Emergency Order #1, which provides definitions for enclosed spaces and face covers as directed under the order.

This order will remain in place until September 28, 2020 or by a subsequent superseding order.

There are now 31 states with similar orders in place, including Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota.
